      Description: Tilza folklore ensemble was founded October 19 1988 by Linda Čaunāne, which managed the ensemble for 10 years. In the autumn of 1998 she has replaced by Daiga Jēkabsone.
    At first we have not much participants, but after some time becamed more. The basic structure has not changed - some women sing from the beginning until this day.
    Are assembled and are performed about 200 Latgalian folk songs, basically from our and nearby parishes. Subjects of songs are different, but the wedding songs are especially favourite.
    The ensemble participates in many actions of our parish, gaved concerts also in other places - in Valmiera, Cesis, Riga, Jaunlaicene, tooked part in folklore festivals Baltika in 1991 and 1994 in Riga and in 1996 in Lithuania, Vilnius.
