Description: The folklore group Baļķi was formed with the
purpose of maintenance and popularisation of Latvian folklore traditions
among the students of Liepaja Pedagogical academy.
Baļķi represent LPA both in the city, and in the region, and as performed
in Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Elblong (Poland).
The group already is the integral part of students' musical life of the academy.
