Folk music concert,

      On Thursday, October 17 in the Small hall of Riga Technical university a concert of folk music was held, where took part folklore ensembles Visi vēji, Laiksne and Auri.

Visi vēji

      New and pleasantly fresh group Visi vēji (All winds) began a concert by several melodies not heard before. The participants of the group are known from Dance club and Folk music center's folklore club. The manner of performance of the group characterizes a plenty of musical instruments - everybody plays something. It seems, the participants do not trust to their voices.

Laiksne

      Laiksne also has performed many new songs. Is felt, that creative searches have not run low. It would be desirable to see more attractiveness. Latgalian repertuar is partially replaced by Zemgalian (Skaistkalne).

Auri

      Auri, I think, grows up too. The command, tempered in long-term joint work, has kept its identity. It seems, the role of girls is strongly increased. Generally - quiet and spiritual group. Has it a foreign influence?
