folklora.lt In early May, Ansis Ataols Berzins in Riga took the wraps off a Web site that's been needed for quite some time. His folklora.lt explores Latvian folklore, particularly music, and serves as a valuable and growing resource. Readers can learn about different traditional instruments, various folklore ensembles, and upcoming events. Readers also can download MP3 files of various folk songs. Still under development is a section that Latvian school instructors might find useful, focusing on how to teach Latvian culture. Information is presented using dynamic fonts and is available in Latvian, English and Russian. The folklora.lt site received support from the Soros Fund of Latvia.
