Vilki 10'th anniversary,
7 November 2002
On Thursday, November 7, in the Chimney hall of the Riga Latvian society
men group Vilki
celebrated their 10'th anniversary and also presented the new album
Swiftly, swiftly tomtit sings.
Vilki sing
The concert began with delay for 20 minutes and was approximately hour long.
Vilki sang songs from the new album and told about the group.
Songs was nice, arranged in world music manner, but in moderation.
Especially pleasantly was to listen many-voice. Such trifles, as lack of knowledge
of words or discrepancy of tuning of pipe to tuning of monochord, have not spoiled
the good impression.
An additional song after reception of gifts
During the concert participants have congratulated their wives. The wives,
in turn, not leaved it unanswered and upon termination of the concert
have chaffed them in song and presented with small comic things. After two
additional songs, Vilki have invited all arrived to refreshments.
The people eat<>
The beer was tasty, pies too, therefore people even have begun to sing.
Who knows, may be they would start to dance too, but administration of the
building has declared, that it is time to finish.
