Dance pub of Laimas muzykanti, Daugavpils, springtime 1998

      Since October 1997 at Daugavpils Pedagogical university works dance pub of Laimas muzykanti. Why pub, instead of club or meeting? Because these actions are carried out in university cafe, in which there are long wooden tables, candles and obligatory attribute of a pub - beer, helping from thirst and from taciturnity, and, most important - creating a cosy atmosphere of true Latvian pub. Constant dancers - students and teachers of the university, but in the same way other Latvians from Daugavpils. Especially pleases that recently pub started to visit Daugavpils inhabitants of other nationalities too. The musicians are most often shown we themselves - Laimas muzykanti, but most of all we are pleased with visitings of other groups - at us played Iļģi, Auri, Gunārs and Rasma Igaunis from Dziga, Grodi and others.

    Entrance: 0.40 Ls (in case of arrival of other musicians can be little bit more expensive).
