Description: In 1996 a folklore group from the nearby parish
visited us. After that we decided to create a folklore group too, on the
basis of an already existing female vocal ensemble.
In our repertoire there are different songs - both cheerful and sad. But
most of all we like merry, cheerful songs. The songs we have learned
basically from narrators: if we like one, we write it down and perform.
We participate in all possible activities of our parish: on Easter, on
Cristmas, on John's day, in Holiday of harvest. We act in other places of
Latgalia too. In 1998 we participated in the Song festival in Riga.
